Kari Wood, NNP-BC, is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Logan Health Children’s. With over 21 years of experience, Kari has been a part of many aspects of neonatal intensive care, including assisting in building a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a community hospital in Utah. Kari received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Spokane Community College in 1990, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Utah in 2000, her Master of Science in Nursing as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from University of Utah in 2002, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Utah in 2019. She has experience both in surgical children’s hospitals as well as delivery centers. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and knitting.
