Glacier Range Riders and Logan Health recently announced a partnership naming Logan Health as the official healthcare partner for the new Kalispell-based minor league baseball team.

“The Glacier Range Riders are proud to partner with the Flathead Valley’s premier healthcare provider, Logan Health. Their core values of integrity, compassion, service, excellence, and ownership closely align with our values as a family, and as an organization,” says Glacier Range Rider Vice President Chris Kelly, “We look forward to the years ahead and further development of programs that allow us to serve the residents of our valley.”

Logan Health, which employs nearly 4,500 in Flathead and surrounding counties, will become the exclusive provider of athletic training and health care services for the team and the title sponsor of many Flathead Field features, including the children’s play area and the training facility.

“When we learned that a minor league baseball team and new stadium was coming to the Flathead, we were excited to get involved. It was clear to us from our initial conversations that the Glacier Range Riders represent many of the same community-focused values Logan Health holds dear, and the synergies between our two organizations will make for a very successful partnership,” said Logan Health President & CEO Craig Lambrecht, MD. “We are deeply committed to the health and wellness of those in our local communities, and being able to partner with the Glacier Range Riders presents an incredible opportunity for us to advance that mission.”

The partnership will also allow collaboration between the team and Logan Health’s Youth Development Program through the use of the Flathead Field facility for events, camps and more.

“We’re so excited about this partnership with the Range Riders and the opportunities it will provide for our youth and their families,” says Logan Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine physician Kim Stimpson, MD.  “Access to the Flathead Field facility and players will be a huge benefit to student athletes participating in our Youth Development program.”

In addition, game night activities promoting both partners’ dedication to health and wellness will be both informative and crowd pleasers for ticket holders. The Glacier Range Riders will also help to give back to the Logan Health Foundation with opportunities to encourage crowd-sourced fundraising efforts to support many of Logan Health’s services, including but not limited to, A.L.E.R.T, Logan Health Children’s, and many other health care needs.

“To have Logan Health as our first partner here in the Valley will give us an incredible foundation to build upon,” says Kelly. “The facilities and services that we are able to provide our players are unparalleled at this level and we look forward to setting the standard for what Pioneer League Baseball can be.”
