Choosing the right primary care provider (PCP) is an important decision. As your life changes and your health needs do too, a good health care provider will grow with you.
Logan Health is proud to offer many options when it comes to family medicine. With primary care services offered around the Flathead Valley, we have you covered from Eureka to Polson. Most of our primary care clinics offer services for the entire family – from senior-specific needs to pediatrics. Other services offered include laboratory services, radiology and x-rays, ultrasound imaging, sports medicine, routine physicals, women’s health and gynecological services, prescription refills and certain special procedures. Our clinics also offer walk-in availability.
In the event you are in need of medical advice that doesn’t quite require a trip to the emergency room, or it’s 3 a.m. and you just want to be sure about something, consider our virtual clinic services with Logan Health Virtual Care. You can talk with a board-certified medical professional on your computer, tablet or smartphone to help support some basic health care needs.

Tips for selecting a primary care provider
- Search your health plan network. Look up providers in your health plan’s network. Because you will likely see your PCP often, using a doctor within your plan’s network will save you money. Plus, it may be easier to locate somebody close by.
- Consider medical background. Note that some providers are board-certified in a field of medicine. This means that they have completed training in a specialty and passed an exam that assesses their knowledge and skill in a particular area, such as diabetes or pediatrics.
- Get referrals. Talk to friends, neighbors and relatives and see if they can refer you to a quality doctor. Nothing is more reliable than the experiences of people similar to you.

Walk-in Care
Walk-in care provides treatment and access to medical care when your regular doctor is unable to see you or your provider’s clinic is closed. If you have an injury or illness that isn’t life threatening but you can’t wait for an appointment with your primary care provider, then walk-in care is a great option.
