Family-Centered Care
At Logan Health Children’s our pediatric patients have access to advanced care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and pediatric unit, as well as a full range of additional services including pediatric therapy and spiritual care. In addition, children and their families can participate in recreation and wellness activities at Logan Health Medical Fitness Center.
Our team approach to treatment addresses not only the physical well-being of children and youth with serious medical conditions, but also offers support to patients and their families navigating a broad range of psychosocial issues and stresses related to treatment, coping with illness and maintaining health.
Our health care team recognizes that families are crucial partners throughout the journey, and we are committed to family-centered care. We work closely with families and strive to provide services and resources to help make what can be a difficult experience as easy as possible.
Pediatric Support Services
Depending on their needs, pediatric patients at Logan Health Children’s receive care from a variety of professional support staff, including:

- Physical therapists
- Speech therapists
- Respiratory therapists
- Social workers
- Nutritionists and dietitians
- Chaplains
Pediatric Therapy
Outpatient pediatric therapy is offered at Logan Health Medical Fitness Center in a large treatment facility with a warm therapy pool, private treatment rooms, and child-appropriate educational toys and equipment. Therapy options include physical, occupational and speech.
Our bright, positive atmosphere welcomes family involvement. The licensed therapists at Logan Health Children’s will work with you and your child, caregivers, teachers and day care providers to set goals and develop individual treatment plans for each child.

Spiritual Care
At Logan Health Children’s, we recognize that spiritual care is an important part of the healing process. Our full-time staff chaplain is an ordained minister and has completed training specific to hospital chaplaincy.
Patients and family members can request a visit from a chaplain at any time during their stay in the hospital. Call (406) 752-1776 to contact the chaplain.
Recreation
Logan Health Medical Fitness Center is a family-friendly fitness and wellness facility for all ages and abilities. With more than 100,000 square feet and some of the finest facilities and equipment in Montana, we offer a variety of recreational and athletic programs for youth:

- Tyke Town child care
- Soccer leagues
- Teen gym and teen night
- Climbing wall
- Competitive Edge youth training and coaching
- Both competitive and noncompetitive events for all ages
Local Resources
ASSIST is a local nonprofit whose dedicated volunteers connect people with the resources necessary to regain health and independence. These services may include financial assistance, meals, social services and home care. To learn more, call (406) 758-1437.
