Logan Health is proud to announce a significant contribution of $500,000 from Sarah Broussard to bolster Behavioral Health services at Logan Health. Montana ranks third in the nation for its suicide rate, underscoring the critical need for expanded behavioral health services in the region. Sarah Broussard’s remarkable contribution will empower Logan Health to take immediate action toward addressing this crisis, improving patient outcomes, and creating a safer, more compassionate environment for those in need.

The $500,000 donation will be used across several key areas, including:
- Emergency Department Enhancements: Improving facilities and processes to create a more supportive environment for behavioral health patients, including renovations to create spaces designed specifically for their needs, sound system upgrades, and trauma-informed care training for staff.
- Behavioral Health Facility Upgrades: Significant improvements to Logan Health’s 40-bed acute inpatient facility for adults and adolescents in need of behavioral health hospitalized care. Facility upgrades will include improvements to patient rooms, common spaces, and staff areas, designed to foster a more supportive and healing environment.
- Staff and EMS Support: Expanding resilience and support programs for healthcare providers, including debriefing and emotional support forums for frontline staff.
- Patient Support Resources: Providing tools like mobile gaming carts, distraction items, and behaviorally appropriate activity kits to help create a more calming environment for patients.
This transformative gift brings Logan Health one step closer to realizing its vision of a healthier, more hopeful Montana. The donation will provide critical support to behavioral health services essential in today’s challenging healthcare landscape.
