Logan Health Supplies Regional Food PantriesLocal food pantries across the Hi-Line received over a total of 3,780 non-perishable items, plus 90 frozen turkeys, from employees at Logan Health – Chester, Conrad, Cut Bank, and Shelby before Thanksgiving weekend.

Each hospital facility participated in a Brawl of the Wild Food Drive Competition leading up to the annual MSU Bobcats and UM Grizzlies football game on November 18. The “Can the Cats” and “Can the Griz” event created a friendly competition between the Hi-Line communities, resulting in generous donations that will benefit families during the holiday season. Overall, the Grizzly fans “Canned the Cats,” 2,042 items to 1,739.

As an appreciation gift, each employee receives a turkey from Logan Health before Thanksgiving. 90 extra turkeys were left over between the Hi-Line facilities. The turkeys and food drive items were donated amongst the Harvest Food Pantry and families in need in Cut Bank, the Sagebrush Food Pantry in Shelby, the Pondera Food Pantry in Conrad, Great Falls Rescue Mission, and the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Chester.
