Logan Health will host a stationary bike relay event on March 11, 2023. With a goal of raising $100,000, all proceeds from the event will benefit Montana’s youth impacted by medical hardships.
“Families across Montana are struggling with expenses related to their medical conditions,” said Logan Health President & CEO Craig Lambrecht, MD. “We are excited to hold this event to support youth and their families.”
The event will take place at Glacier High School in the gymnasium with opening ceremonies beginning at 8:30 a.m. Teams with up to 12 riders each will work together to raise a minimum of $1,000 for their team through peer-to-peer fundraising.
“We know many other community partners will get involved, form a team and join us in helping Montana families,” said Dr. Lambrecht. “The excitement, emotion and competitive spirit will be super contagious!”
During the six-hour event, each team member will pedal as far and as fast as they can for 20 minutes on the stationary bikes. The distance will be recorded on a computer and turned in to the bike hub, where teams can see their results in real time.
Prizes are given out every 20-minute round for categories such as speed, distance and rider age. Grand prizes will be awarded to the top teams who ride the farthest distance and raise the most funds.

All proceeds will go toward a fund that supports Montana children and young adults under age 21 with medical hardships that are not covered by other means of funding—such as travel and home modifications not covered by health insurance.
