Michelle Smith, NP

Michelle Smith, FNP, joined Logan Health in November 2012 as part of Logan Health Primary Care – Eureka. Michelle completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1986 from the University of Nevada, and after that, she received her Masters of Nursing degree, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1990 from the University of Washington in Seattle. In 1997, Michelle received her Post-Master’s Certification-Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University in Spokane. When working with her patients, Michelle focuses on caring for the whole family and emphasizes highly on educating her patients. She focuses on promoting wellness within all of her patients. She believes that health is the whole person-mind, body, spiritual and community, and that medical care is a part of this. Michelle strives to work closely with her patients so they can work towards optimal health. Away from the office, Michelle loves running, sewing/quilting, and spending time with family.
