Pulmonologist Anthony Dal Nogare, MD, is a member of the Logan Health medical staff and practices at Logan Health Heart & Lung. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1978, interned at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, and did an internal medicine residency at Georgetown University Hospital and the Washington, D.C., Veterans Administration. From there, he spent two years in public health service on the Navajo Reservation in Chinle, Arizona. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in 1986. Until moving to the Flathead Valley in 2009, Dr. Dal Nogare was associated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital – both in Dallas – as a professor, attending physician and medical director. During that time he published many research articles, primarily on the microbiology of lung infections. Dr. Dal Nogare is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. In addition to his partnership at Logan Health Heart & Lung, he is an intensive and critical care specialist in Logan Health Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys hiking and cycling. He and his wife have three daughters, who enjoy exploring northwest Montana as a family.
