Adam Smith, DO

Adam Smith, DO, joined the Logan Health family in April 2018 as the medical director of primary care and as a member of the Physician Network leadership team. Dr. Smith shares his knowledge and oversight about clinical protocols, compliance measures and other operations issues to improve upon current services. His broad medical and administrative background also help provide mentoring and coaching support to staff providers and managers. Dr. Smith also provides direct patient care in Lake County at Polson Health as he feels this is an important complement to his leadership duties. Dr. Smith has been practicing in Lake County for more than 10 years and is familiar with the unique needs of the Polson community. He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, followed by additional training with the Mercy-Mayo Family Medicine Residency program, also in Des Moines. Dr. Smith enjoys caring for families and the full scope of family medicine. He and his wife, Tyana, are the proud parents of five children. Away from the clinic, Dr. Smith enjoys adventuring with his family in Montana’s great outdoors.
